Based on an extruded aluminium arm with no metal-metal contact surfaces and combined with the patented lift assist the Fortrex is tough, quiet and easy to deploy.

Universal Sonar 2 has an integrated, concealed transducer that provides interference-free sonar performance, water temperature sensing, and dual beam technology for an expanded view and greater bottom detail.
It’s compatible with most major fishfinders such as Humminbird, Garmin and Eagle. US2 adds around $100 to the price but for the neatness and usefulness of it I think it is worth it.
